Temposonics R Series - a groundbreaking position sensor designed for installations with limited space or demanding environments where it's crucial to separate the electronics from the sensing elements to ensure optimal protection and reliability.

In machine manufacturing, engineers often face tight installation spaces and extreme operating temperatures that make sensor integration a significant challenge. The R-Series V RD5 is engineered specifically to overcome these obstacles. By detaching the electronics from the sensing element, the RD5 enables remote installation of the electronics - up to 20 meters from the sensor rod - placing them safely outside of high-temperature zones or, in the case of space constraints, wherever sufficient room is available. With the sensing element capable of operating in ambient temperatures up to 120 °C, the RD5 delivers precise and reliable position measurement in conditions where conventional sensors typically fail. It’s a rugged, high-performance solution for demanding applications such as metal forming, die casting, and other environments where heat and limited space push standard technologies to their limits.
